Denise Nixon is a dynamic educator, consultant, and entrepreneur specializing in e-learning, professional development, and training. With over 28 years of experience spanning K-12 public schools, higher education, and leadership, Denise is dedicated to transforming the educational landscape.

Denise’s journey began with the Sumter School District in South Carolina, where she served in various roles including school counselor, administrator, and assistant superintendent for human resources. In 2017, she launched OneCore Workforce Solutions, LLC, focusing on recruiting top-tier educators and employees for school districts and companies.

The pandemic brought a new chapter, prompting Denise to pivot to online education. She now designs and teaches courses for colleges and universities nationwide, while also serving as a clinical supervisor for aspiring educators. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish BFP Creative Works, providing e-learning and educational consulting services.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Denise inspires through her podcasts, motivational speaking, and writing. Her book, Power, Love, and A Sound Mind: How Three Simple Truths Changed My Life, chronicles her faith-driven journey to empower others. She currently hosts two podcasts. In Pivot By Faith, she showcases stories of resilience and transformation. Her second podcast, Dissertation Deconstructed, supports doctoral students by providing resources and information on writing a quality dissertation.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Master of Education in School Counseling, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina, along with a PhD in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University.
